This Cookie Policy explains how VYLINO (https://vylino.com/) uses cookies, pixels, local storage, tags and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy. A cookie may be placed by VYLINO or by a third party supporting a feature that you use.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored by your browser. Related technologies include pixels that record interactions, local storage that retains preferences, and server-side request logs. Some are session-based, while others remain until expiry or deletion.
2. Categories and purposes
- Strictly necessary: site stability, security, spam defence, authentication, WooCommerce cart and checkout, payment session and form operation. Blocking these may break the service.
- Functional: remembering optional preferences, chat sessions and authorised social-login choices.
- Analytics/performance: understanding aggregate site use, traffic sources, conversion events and technical issues. Google Analytics/Site Kit and Google Tag Manager may be involved.
- Advertising/measurement: ad attribution, remarketing, audience measurement and personalised promotion where enabled. Installed integrations may include Meta Pixel, Google advertising tags, Google for WooCommerce and Reddit for WooCommerce.
- Third-party embedded services: video, social embeds, live chat, appointment booking, review widgets, payment and identity providers can set their own cookies or collect device information when the feature loads.
3. Providers and cookie names
Examples that can occur depending on the active feature include WordPress login cookies, WooCommerce woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_*; Google analytics _ga-family identifiers; Meta _fbp; and cookies or browser storage used by hosting/security services, payment processors and live chat. This is an indicative list, not a verified live cookie inventory. Cookie names, provider domains, processing locations and lifetimes can change with plugins and features. A current technical scan is required for a precise inventory.
4. Choices and consent
Where law requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, the website must use a correctly configured consent mechanism to prevent optional trackers from firing until the applicable consent is received. An information banner without genuine blocking is not sufficient. If a site preference panel is displayed, you can use it to accept, reject or adjust optional categories. Independently, browser privacy settings can block or delete cookies, and Google/Meta offer their own account-level advertising controls. You may contact contact@vylino.com for help with a tracking objection or privacy request. Blocking certain features can affect account and checkout operation.
5. When cookies are set
Some essential features activate on arrival; a booking widget, third-party login or video may activate when used. Analytics and marketing scripts can also be inserted by WordPress plugins, integrations or tag managers. Their presence and consent behaviour should be verified in a browser before a claim of full technical compliance is made.
6. Retention, sharing and international access
Session cookies normally end with the browsing session, while persistent cookies have provider-specific expiry times. Providers may receive technical identifiers and event information, and may process them outside India subject to applicable law and their own terms. For information about data rights, security and contact details, see our Privacy Policy.
